Description

As I was filling up my tank last night, I was comforted by the fact that Branch Bank & Trust (BB&T) has an office nearby in case I need a loan to purchase fuel as the price of crude continues to rise... ;'] As for the naughty little sign in the corner, I have absolutely no idea how it got there... ................... That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! BTW, after looking at this pic, I've decided to trade my van in on a vehicle that runs on milk... or Pepsi... :o)

Love your corner sign!! I drive a 1984 Diesel Benz because I don't believe in car payments. It's a safe strong (and good looking) car and good on fuel mileage. Just throughly pissed that Diesel fuel is $3.39 a gallon tonight- tomorrow will be higher. Heating fuel is even higher!! I'm going to sell some antiques on Ebay, buy a pellet/corn stove and I shall stay home and hunker in until this madness passes! Excellent shot!! Your John Lennon and Johnny Depp avatars are killer!! Your friend in old hippiness, Cynthia.

Alternative fuels are the way forward..... GIve up your gas gussling (spelling?) cars and swap to biofuels, bioethanol etc.... Oh hang on, you can't, government says so.

Dang, $3.09, that's a deal, where I am (or where I live when I'm not in Mexico), it was $3.59 and rising steadily!! And what Cynthia said--your avatars rock!!!

Of course non of this would be happening if we had a responsible policy regarding mass transportation.

Shoot, gas was $3.37 at the CHEAP station on my way to work this morning! and we are expecting it to go up another 40 cents a gallon in the next 2 weeks. I figure I'd be better off fueling my car on gold flakes in a year or two if this keeps up! Great shot. And it makes me smile at a situation that really isn't too funny any more.

Very cute...the sign I mean....but it's not really...I just fill my tank once a month because I have no life, but my good friend Vaggabondd sure goes threw the petrol.

It was probably Not Me and I Don't Know, they get up to much mischeif and never stay around long enough to get caught!

Very funny capture. Never thought you would see the day when you have to take out a loan to buy gas. Love the little sign.

LOL You're so funny........... you have cheap milk there. ours is closer to $4.00 per gallon, so I think I'll continue filling up my tank (half way, can't afford to fill it anymore) with gas .. at $3.01. GREAT shot though; it made me laugh out loud, it woke up Bud (my dog) :D

Lol we are paying over a £1.00 A litre so that price per gallon is still good to us in Europe.. Nice image to make the point!
