Description
I took a photo of this Autumn guy at Ann's place several months ago. I just loved him, but a plain photo seemed a bit . . . well . . . plain! Cutting him out of the original photo and dropping him onto a background of autumn leaves really worked for me, though. He is now in his natural environment.

I was doing a bit of research into 'The Green Man' a couple of years back Tara, I've put a link in below, I know you and your search for knowledge, you might find it interesting, please let me know what you think. http://www.mikeharding.co.uk/greenman/green1.html This is fantastic and straight in my favs, I have seen carvings etc. but never seen a plaque like this one, I would love something like this for up near the pond. I guess I will have to keep looking. Doesn't he look happy to be where he belongs? In amongst the other leaves. Excellent image and work.!!!!! Bravo!!!!!

Love that face - very autumnal. Thought you had manipped a leaf with the relief and texture and jaw was about to drop when i realised it was just a shot of a physical object. But nontheless a great shot and a nice placement within its surroundings, and an overall good atmosphere to the composition. :)
