This is a wonderful creation. The colors are bright and happy, the scene is a very refreshing one.

It´s really a photo?!!! Great manipulation!

NICE...............

To answer to Mousson: Actually this is the join of two Photos, made with different exposures in order to catch both luminous and dim details (consider that our eyes reach a dinamic range a lot greater than a normal DSC image). After alignment of the two pictures with Anabuilder, I joined them with QTPSFGUI generating an High Dynamic Range picture (16 bit); then I used "tonemap" function of this SW to visualize all the luminosity range within an 8 bit standard jpeg picture; in doing this, I selected the "Fattal" option (Gradient Domain HDR compression) which gave this "impressionist" layout. More realistic results are obtained through different mappings (the ones called "Drago" and "Reinhard" gives a more realistic result). The only post-processing elaboration made by me with PSP was a simple globa luminosity/contrast adjustment and a smoothing of sky portion, which was too "noisy"...

I DO need to get an understanding of this tone mapping stuff. This is great.

Hi tiziezzme, I suggest you to start by looking to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tone_mapping http://osp.wikidot.com/parameters-for-photographers There are many technical articles on this argument on the web; however, initially I obtained these pretty results simply by playing with QTPFSGUI controls, without particular knolwdge...
