Description

Captured 11/12/07 around 7 AM, about .70 of a mile/1.127 kilometers from my residence. In my previous posting of Snapdragon #1, I mentioned that the species had gotten short shrift in the Renderosity community, as opposed to the ever present rose, so this is just another reminder that the humble flower does exist. The water drops on this beauty are from an early morning automatic sprinkler system, and not from dew or rain. Snapdragons are kind of rare around my general area, so I was fortunate to capture this one, among various others of its ilk, in a flower bed at the entrance of a shopping mall. Have a nice day.

Another pretty snapdragon. This, I think, is a rare flower to see anywhere, except maybe to the entrances to shopping malls everywhere... Great shot.

I just love this, it is a beautiful coloured flower and a plant I know well as I always grow them in my garde. It may not be the real thing but I adore the 'rain drops' glistening on its petals. I remember as a child how I used to love to put my fingers in the petals and make the dragon's mouth move. Thanks for sharing this excellent image. hugs Jane xx

Some flowers are forced blooms but the snap dragon must endure forced opennings and closings. Snap! Snap!

Such a lovely shot of such a pretty and 'feel good' little flower! They always brighten the flowerbed and bring smiles, as does your shot of this vibrant and colorful little bloom!
