Description
As they stood on the shore, awaiting the arrival of the Avatar of Water, Rainsong turned to the others in the strange party of travellers and spoke softly to them.
"You must understand," the Shoshani girl brushed a lock of her hair from her fair face, "there hasn't been much hope amongst our people in many, many years. We never ever dreamed that when the Goddesses would send the Champions to us, that they would send those who have persecuted us for so very long. To see a Shupa as a protector, a Champion.... it is a hard thing to believe."
Suddenly, not far from the shore, the deep waters of the ocean began to bubble and boil. Something was coming from below. Something huge. Rainsong smiled and touched the Relic of Water at her slim waist.
"The Avatar comes. You shall see the power of Kamia in all Her glory. There are few Bluefin left in the world. You shall see a miracle this day."

GORGEOUS graphic! At first it reminded me of a peacocks tail, and then as I studied it more I saw bubbles. The black appearance gives off the feeling of deep, underwater dwellings. The excerpt from your story is excellent! Very well and beautifully written. The way your character addresses this "Champion" reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy, and the way the different races address each other in there. Left me wanting more!
