Description

This is what I was going to upload yesterday but I happy I posted the one I did post yesterday. . I at a diff coffee shop now. The one I shot here close at 7pm but on this night they had this band; so it closed at 9pm. I at one that close at 12 tonight. I will not be here at that time for I sleeply now and it just 6:08 pm lol Yes that my empte cup of ice tea. I love tea. I sit here many a night on line and talk to no one in the coffee shop; for no one knows me. I say nothing to no one but a little to some and it last about one minture. We in our own worlds and move without knowing no one. Going to places and not talking ; knowing no one wish to hear you. The music is in all these places but no one hears it for they in they own world. Just something I thought up. I remember been at parties and feel so lonely at them. People all around. I had a glass in my hand and I squeeze it so hard it broke in my hand and cut me. That was when I was 20 years old but I remember it. So sad was I but then I was a jerk; now I just a no body who thinks his art is something but it not. Nothing matters but life goes on and ready to take more photos and keep moveing. Wonder why I talk to no body; but then that my name??? thanks for looking and comments guess I should have posted this in the writer area.

Nice picture of the band in another coffee shop Jocko!!! Of course people are often in their own worlds, busy, shy, or worried about dangers. Most of us anyway, there are some who are very outgoing. Sometimes we just have to let all these things go and take a chance and start up a conversation. It really helps if there is a common topic of interest. Like here I feel just about anyone would absolutely love to talk with you about art, UV, Bryce, photography for a start. At a coffee shop it might be coffee, computers, art on the wall, or music, or teh local weather that would be a good starter conversation. Then once we know people, well the conversations can be about much more. Just avoid politics or religion with hotheads or those with closed minds. Of course sometimes we are not in the mood to talk, and sometimes others are not, or are "in their own worlds". Maybe small towns are better than big cities, as people get to know each other a bit easier. But then again, everyone knows everyone else's business then, which must be like being a movie star in a way, not much privacy. Excellent photography Jocko, and a introduction writeup that sure got me thinking . . . 5+++

you can allmost hear the drums!!! jock i know far to well being alone. i,m nearly into year 9 of solitary confinement. in the small town of small mined nazi spy descendant hicks. they will talk to to weasel info to talk about you. i wish i could just for awhile be out from under the microscope of religious hates and judgers of me. they cannot do each other because they,d be talking about their own cusion grampauncle brothercousin cousondaddy. The other day i got the standard religious hick greeting thats where 1 hick might talk to you . but two hicks will snub you in the name of their church. so in a way i can relate to you about being alone. hope you never get stuck in hell like me.

I suppose everyone has known the feeling of being alone in a crowd.I guess that means that you are not really alone. On some level,we are all connected.

your style is unique to you and expresses your ideas.maybe everyone does not appreciate it, but does not lower the effort you put into it or your insight. I tend to be a loner and not speak much as I tend to say the wrong thing

I like the way the drums echo the table. The circle repeats itself .. table to the drum, to the next drums. I like the reflections in the glass in the window or door behind the table. The table itself, with one empty glass sort of speaks of what you wrote. Being alone and feeling lonely in a crowd is way too easy. I like being alone, and sometimes feel crowded in this house with only two people. I guess that makes me pretty much a loner. Still, there are times that at a gathering with friends and family, I can stand there with a cup of coffee in my hand and feel alone, lonely, like an outsider. Strange, huh? I think Jock, that our problem is that we think too much, LOL! And no, your writing and your thoughts belong right here, under your works. They are a part of you just like your photography is, they go together like peanut butter and jelly. Neither is right without the other.

We are alone, absolutely alone on this chance planet: and, amid all the forms of life that surround us, not one, excepting the dog, has made an alliance with us. Maurice Maeterlinck

Wonderful shot, J - this is very cool. I hate parties and crowds too. There's nothing wrong with that. You're a fabulous artist - never doubt it!

Puts a whole new term to Jam! ;) I agree with Richard regarding your Art. Take care not to put your expectation of yourself, or your work on the reactions of others. Enjoy yourself, enjoy doing your Art. People will see that joy, and want to be part of it! Hugs my Friend!

You do not stand alone when you stand alone, Jock. I am usually the most lonely when I am in a crowd of people. I haven't been to a party in over 30 years. The last one I went to I was so sad and lonely at I never went to another. I'm not very good at talking to people. This is a nice shot. I think I like the mood of yesterday's better but I get the mood in both.
