Well! Innocent little soul that I am, I just found out about these new 'varieties' of chrysanthemums.
Those folks cheat, (in my eyes, anyway) by putting the cut stems in coloured water, which is soaked up and stains or changes the flower's natural colour. HRRRMMMPH!! lol

Yeah, I was bummed when I found that out, too, they also do it with carnations!! Cheaters!! Still, it's a great shot, and they ARE pretty!!

These are awesome. I bought a bouquet at the grocery store tonight. If I don't buy my own, I don't get them. Not that I haven't gotten flowers sent to me in the past but its been awhile and I do think I'm worth pampering these days. LOL
