Description

Sneak Factor = HIGH Now you might think that the sneak factor on flowers in a vase would be low, right? But there are all kinds of things to consider when setting these ratings, my friends! These lovely yellow daisies in their pretty blue vase were sitting on top of a filing cabinet in my office a week or so ago. We'd had people in, and the boss likes to spruce things up a bit. I'd put them in the blue vase, liking that particular combination. Then, of course, every time I walked by them, I wanted to take a picture! Made my hands fairly ITCH for the camera! We aren't encouraged to be artsy at work. I know that might seem unreasonable, but . . . well . . . they pay us to WORK! I know - I know - but they have a point. So one day I remembered to bring my camera in to work, and when the boss was out to lunch, I snuck around and took a bunch of pictures of this flower arrangement. I'm dedicating this image to Einzie1, because he was standing right there, hassling me the whole time. (Hey - if I'm gonna get in trouble, he's going down with me! LOL!) So E - this one's for you, Babe! Enjoy! :)

Fantastic shot. I very much like the contrast of the yellow flowers against the blue glass. And hey, how can they stop you from taking photos on your break -- especially when the boss is gone, right? ;-)

A spectacular combination, Tara! The clarity is gorgeous and the blue vase against those yellows just can't be beat! Wonderful.

Where are my sunglasses? This is bright and beautiful and well worth the Sneak Factor. The golden yellow just brightens my day (well, evening now) and that blue vase is gorgeous. Well done!

I'm constantly copping a shot of someone's flower arrangement at the State Capitol. I go in a legislator's office for something with my camera around my neck. Often some constituent has given the office a bouquet of something or other and if I'm lucky, the office staffer is in the back making copies when I arrive. So up comes the camera ... :-) I've also been known to fish a faded bunch of flowers out of the trash in their office and set them up in the hallway to take shots as my leisure. I love the intrigue. And this is a shot you can't help but love. the clarity and compo is astonishing. I really love this!

Your boss is way out to lunch and your taking time to shoot the flowers. Did you at least have time to smell them? LOL. The color combination is great.
