BIOmy freelance work consists of creating layouts, retouching images,
and designing logos and promotional material images for print and
the web. my clients include harper collins publishers (new york, ny),
and telos systems (cleveland, oh). i have a bfa in industrial design
from the rhode island school of design.
in my spare time i have been working on an animation project called
"error type 11." it is named after the crash i most frequently get while
using carrara studio. i'm aiming to have it done by fall 2002. (missed that mark, i guess) gallery
images and a website documenting the making of the animation are
[probably never gonna make it].

I thought at first when i saw the thumb that it was a touched up photo, but looking at the larger image, i can see that it's not. nice work :)

thank you. on the hi-res file (not this one here, but the really big one), you can really see the 'brush strokes' and the planet looks very painterly. there are also a few places where the underpainting shows through, if you look carefully.
