Description

Guadalupe Mountains National Park McKittrick Canyon Ok, no more national geographic explanations of the canyon...lol... :) Water is the reason why McKittrick Canyon is so different from the surrounding desert. It has water all year long. The water comes up out of ground springs, and its creeks, brooks, and pools never go dry. A Ranger told me they introduced trout into the stream back in 1930, and they have had a small trout population in the canyon every year since. So this is my picture, three actually, a brook, a small pool, and a shallow creek. I hope you like it. Here is what I did: resized, bordered, framed, and added text. Oh, and guess what, you have to look at this full size, oh and did I mention you have to look at this full size!...LOL... :) Full size! Let me know what you think. P.S. Look at the picture full size, for best view!... :) All comments and advice are welcome. If you are seeing this series for the first time, I explain all about this place with the first four pictures posted. Thank y'all for all the comments and advice on my last post. Y'all are great. Todd
