Description
Today I reinstalled TERRAGEN 0.9.043, after finding my key and assorted files on my back up drive. Choosing a terrain created in GEOCONTROL ( soon to be GEOCONTROL 2 ), and the 'rays.atm' ( artist unknown ), I fiddled about with cloud depth etc, and came up with more interesting clouds, almost an aurora borealis, except this version looks more like a sudden downpour, or 'plummit' as it is called in parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Yorkshire in England.
Thanks for all your comments, John.

This mood is a perfect view of what should be Scotland now. Agree with the downpour rather than aurora borealis. Great image.

Great concept here. My first impression was an aurora borealis. Although it could also be a sudden rain shower. You are leaving it up to one's imagination. I like it very much.

I love very much this wonderful and magical scenery with these contrasts and this really exceptional light, excellent sky and water surface! Amazing mood and atmosphere in this image, that looks peaceful and majestic! That's exactly Scotland in my imagination. Thank you for sharing your vision, John!

Wonderful atmosphere! Eventually, I would have given more height to the sky. Deserves the highest honors. 5+++!

Yeah, this is great. I've seen rain clouds do that before. Very good. It's my opinion you should get in and learn some TG2, along with all of the files that are available to teach us. You'd find a lot of very helpful people on Planetside.

I don't know anything about these programs, but the image you created looks fantasic. It kind of looks like the weather I encountered several times while in Scotland until I saw the borealis looking clouds. I have seen the Aurora Borealis in Northern Canada almost looking as in this picture. Great image, Sig...

reminds me of the night impressions at loch Linnhe but without this mystical effect in the sky! and I also remember the most beautiful star sky I have ever seen! ;o)
