Description
Who Am I Really?
A place washes ashore
The stars are out to shine
Come aboard and find
Many rooms to feel
Walk the plank to end
Think twice of who is inside
Wondering the decks
Mysterious soul stops and stares
Alone a loss for words
Who am I really?
Deep inside the mirror
Eyes look back with tears
Many a lights
Bathe in moonlight waters
A place to find
Oneself in the dark
The battles learn to fight
A cause learns to give
Who am I really?
Come aboard and find
Floating log hotel
A place washes ashore
Think twice of who is inside
Walk the plank to end
Who am I really?

This could be a distanced realisation for future residence with global warming and all. Wonderful artwork Linda and the poem leaves something to ponder on!

Fascinating image and concept, Linda. I see a new depth to your poetry and I love it. I don't know how to explain it more, except to say it seems to have matured. Hugs, love and bright smiles. Suzanne
