Description

Winter comes gently and softly and brings with it its warm winter mantel to cover the earth. It is a time for the planet to take a rest and sleep a deep healing slumber. It also provides us the time to regroup. But most of all I feel that it is a time when the hustle and bustle of the planet slows down. So why is it that we long for the Summer which has gone into its winter sleep so that it may renew itself once more? Let us have heart and take peace in knowing that Summer has not left us... it has not gone beyond our reach... it has not been broken off like a piece of clay to be lost. We can know for ourselves that the Summer lives within us just as we know that the fondest memories of our past live within our being and are there just waiting for our remembrances to begin. So let us take this time to renew ourselves and slow down to the speed of life. It is amazing how things will change if we just slow down. How divine. How simply divine. © Gayle O Created with Apophysis 2.06 Z+. Some people have wondered how the water reflections were created. The water reflection was created with the Flaming Pear flood filter. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You have made my day a little brighter. I believe in the moon, the sun and the stars above... I believe in joy and peace... but most of all, I believe in you and so should you. Namaste. my store amota99517.com

Wow..Your art is amazing..seriously. If you are not already employed as an artist somewhere or are not self employed as an artist you should be. Your narratives that accompany your art..are a work of art by themselves.

Ok...I'm gonna be the bad guy here. This is a lovely image. I understand the birds help sell the concept, but to me they detract from the image. Just me....just me.....
