From innocence, the teens, man hood, the joy of parenthood, success, and to reap all of life's rewards with retiring and becoming a proud Grandfather; I feel truly blessed! Sure, there were many unwanted moments along the way, many of which, time has not erased. Some so devastating that I am amazed I have survived. But, only one wish I have made, and only one wish has been granted, "to be Happy"! Delusional and in denial, maybe; But, I'm glad I did not wish "to be Miserable"! :)
BIO
Someone told me I'm 57 (Now 62) and single. Really? I have always been a child at heart. So it is easy to see why I prefer Faeries! I did not need Peter Pan to convince me to "Never grow up!". Unfortunately, that's not the way our species. So on the exterior, I had to. But, deep within, my child remained. I prefer to be positive, supporting the soft, sweet, and gentle. I paint the world in that light. I'm not blind to the horrors of the world, and I stay sharp to the perils that confront us all. I simply do not allow that to alter how I view the world. I believe "Everything is beautiful", "Lead by example", "Love thy fellow Man", and possibly the greatest truth of all, "You can be what ever you desire, as long as you believe and pursue". I have always love the arts in all categories! I have palyed the guitar for over 45 years and have written over 100 songs. I am a minstrel and enjoy sharing my gift of song. I have dabbled in the visual arts since childhood. I won 2nd place in a High School Architectural State wide contest, and wanted to pursue that field, but somehow got sidetracked. The Sixties! During my middle thirties, I renewed my interests in the Arts and studied most of the Master Artists of oil painting, but struggled with its application. It was during my profession as Programmer Analyst, that I was exposed to CAD systems and its use in design, and found the Media right for me. I started with TrueSpace and CorelDraw starting in the early 90's, but it was not until I retired that I was able to give Art the attention it requires! I truly enjoy Poser and Vue and started to work with these tools in earnest in 2002. But I owe my biggest inspiration and push to Renderosity and all the Artists herein, regardless of their skill levels and talents. This community provides a place for expression and a shared interest > The Love of Art! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I hope you enjoy my images. Hugs, Dennis :)

Dennis, these are wonderful pictures! I also liked your funny note :)... I have never owned none of these cars... but when my son was a little kid, I used to buy him those little toy models... and he liked to play with them very much... It was such a joy to see him so involved in playing with them... Thanks for sharing with us these beautiful pictures...

Wonderful! It makes me feel as though I just went through Harrah's car collection, which by the way, I have done a few times. The last time was disappointing since the collection has mostly been sold off, and only a few remain on display. Plus, my father restored old cars and showed them, won prizes and made lots and lots of friends. :o)

Wow Dennis, Awesome cars.

Very cool scene ! Love the border around the main image. Creatively done. I love that car. It reminds me a bit of the " woody " that my mother drove when I was a young child. How wonderfully nostalgic for me. Thanks for sharing this Dennis.

Awesome collage Dennis, shame you ran out of memory, I always carry three spare CF cards of 1gb each the one in the camera is a 2gb, the main xd card is 2gb and I carry a 1gb spare, alsa carry four spare sets of batteries and a charger that plugs into the cigar lighter. I do admit however to going somewhere and leaving the camera bag in the boot of the car and forgeting to put the spare batteries in my pocket, yes I ran out of power and had to go all the way back to the car. That will not happen again. This collage is absolutely stupendous, the main subject awesome to the extreme, the border outstanding. It's one of those images that blows your mind. I have run out of superlatives. Bravo sir, I take my hat of to you. Bravo!!!!! 5 is not enough 500 is near the mark.
