Thousands of years ago, the wise-men of the First Age gathered together, and laid down a ban that holds back the so-called gods of chaos. Capstones were laid down at the four corners of the world, and again at their midpoints. These stones channel the essences of the outsiders, acting like lightning rods that harmlessly dissipate the terrible energies.
