Dreams can be good but sometimes what we think may be our dreams come true are somewhat distorted my life. You never know when Real Life takes a bite out of you that makes you want to stay in the pixels where it's safe........
Medically retired..... disabled....... noo longer useful......... BAH! I still have my mind or well what the meds have left........ lol, be my friend maybe you could get and idea or two like myself in my pixel driven AwfulDreams. Grab a piece of iminagation to sit on and call me Awful..........

Thanks for that comment Doc, I am looking for the full cylinder etching that was put out by colt but alas cann seem to find the full pattern.

Excellent job! I have a replica of this gun in 44 caliber (.452 roundball) and I love it. You have captured it perfectly. It is interesting to note that there is no rear sight. Gunfight distances were so short that if you took the time to sight, you were usually dead. You can carry a spare cylinder loaded and switch it out pretty fast by popping the barrel wedge. It is much quicker than reloading a spent cylinder. Old timers used bear grease to seal the end of each cylinder to prevent flash over to adjacent cylinders. Some now use Crisco. I use wheel bearing grease. No matter what you use, it fouls the barrel quickly.
