This image is highly poetic and leaves so much room for interpretation and imagination. The feeling that comes to my heart is one of isolation and a sense of "fixedness". Very inspiring image--- I really admire how so much can be read into such a beautiful and simplistic piece of artwork. Great usage of space, and most perfect shades of grey.....

Great shot, Valentin. This afternoon, you would not have seen the tree, for the heavy rain in teh Glasgow area. Where I used to work in the late 1970's there is a small hill in the central lowlands of Scotland, near Biggar, called Tinto Hill. "If you can see it, it is about to rain. If you cannot see it, it is raining...." I think I prefer the fog and mist. I remember being stuck down in a valley, in an areaa with bad radio reception, for several hours due to a terrible fog. We could not see past the bonnet of our police Land Rover!! Wrap up well, my friend. Regards, John.
