Description

This one is for you Kym (Kym's Cave). It's breakfast time on the dam for the birds...so many different ones come here to feast, there are supposed to be croc's here also as there are signs all around saying no swimming but I never saw any and I still have all my fingers and toes! And Kym...posts your shots, it would be great to see your POV on this place!

Beautiful shot , we used to have a little island from where I used to live that had that kind of birdlife but I never did get any pictures of it. This one takes me back to when I was a kid. Love it.

Thank you so much, I love this one, I was so buisy watching them while we were there I almost forgot about the camera at times. We didn't get to the dam until just before lunch time so my shots are in the bright sunshine, we spent 4 hours there then drove home, it's a beautiful spot and I look forward to going again, will show hubby your picks so he will understand why I want to get out there so early next time...did you enjoy the roos and cattle on the road too...Lol..Kym

I'm still looking at the rocks Sue, but this time I do really like the birds and I agree with OldHippieKeyboard why can't humans take note of these birds. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Wonderful work, Sue! I love the way you've cropped this, and getting the pelicans to space themselves out in just that way was brilliant! They really give the composition some zing. Did you have to pay them very many fish?
