One for Mickuk50,
I'm fascinated with old steam trains, brings back all those childhood days out and holidays. I don't really know anything about the makes or names of the engines I just like to photograph them. I dug these up from 2004.
East Lancashire Railway. A lot of money was spent to get this line running like it used to. Runs from Heywood through to Bury, Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall and back.
this shot was at Rawtenstall, I got awhole collection of shots in one trip.

Fantastic image Alan, brought back quite a lot of memories for me both happy and sad, I keep meaning to go one Sunday then something else turns up. I can't help you with the names either I stopped spotting trains when I was about twelve and starting to get interested in girls. Great pov, I maybe would have moved in a bit closer, if it was possible that is. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
