This is the result of seeing if I could do a whole image in a day (usually takes me a few days).Done in Painter X as always.

I absolutely love the piece. The expression and pose, and the scene hinting at the point of it with out actualy showing the explosion is an excellent idea.

Wow, this is absolutely great - shows a story, great skill in producing the image -- and all in a day? Did you use anything at all stock??? That's the beauty of not having to wait for paint to dry :-)
