Description

After hours of trying last night to produce a decent Terragen image I was on the verge of giving up but decided at the last minute not to delete what I'd produced. Anyway, after much thought I decided to upload it to find out peoples thoughts were.

Any comments, even critical ones are welcome as I need to learn.

Many thanks to everyone who has commented on my work so far, it really means a lot to me.

Tony :-)

I love the vision on this landscape, a view of the sea, the reflections are beautiful, and the colors are major contributors to the tranquility that we feel watching your image, the terrain at the bottom adds a dimension to the picture. ...

Very very nice, great job and glad you didn't delete it - if - only if - i should come with a suggestion ...there something with the structure of the water mirror (think it's too plastic) ...but i know it's always the real tricky part ...i think i've only managed to make a deascent water one time in bryce :-) - fantastic that you can play Classical Gas...i've only managed to learn the first riffs :-)

Very good attempt. Sun reflections on water can be very tricky at times. Try positioning the sun at various places, angles and height positions. Movement in water is good. Keep on experimenting...you're on your way.

Great attempt. I've learned through the years as far as water is concerned, to set the max. reflection to 5%, but play with it until the reflection looks just right. Beautiful colors and a good render!!!

This is beautiful Tony, but I'm not familiar with this program. You've been given all sorts of tips and I look forward to watching you progress.

The water movement is super Tony, you could play around also with the roughness and wave height. Experiment also with the type of water, tropical, deep etc. I am no expert myself but I sometimes strike it lucky trying different combinations. This is a really beautiful creation and you are certainly on the right track. Excellent work!
