Description

The day before I left Mexico I took a long walk waaaay up one of the streets. Puerto Vallarta is built mostly on hillside, so once you get off the beach, you start climbing. I knew where I wanted to go, but the streets dead end, take twists and turns and I never quite got there. But it didn't really matter, because I still saw all kinds of new things. This angel was blowing his trumpet and I had to take his picture!! I think it was "La Bamba" I was hearing!!! The two little guys were his back up band!!

This is an utterly fantastic picture, taken under ideal circumstances...at least for me since all of my photography happens when I wander, usually up hill. The colors here are brilliant and the whole composition is utterly superb. I especially like the texture of the bricks that you caught in contrast to the smoother textures. In short THIS is definitely top notch work! ALSO a favorite of mine!!!!
