Description

Bob wanted to be first in line for the big Day After Thanksgiving sale. He craved bargains so intently that he camped out in front of the store for three days. Unfortunately, he didn't bring any food with him. Bob seems to have lost some weight. Finally, the doors opened and the mad rush was on. When Bob spotted a teenager grabbing the last half-price game console, he raised his halberd and bellowed, "Oh, no you don't!" I was looking through some old books of mine and found a certain circa 1980 volume with some interesting illustrations. It had many pictures, but none of them were halftoned at all - perhaps it was too expensive compared to line art, I'm not sure. All I know is that this book had a unique art style that I don't see much these days. I took a Poser rendering (M3 skeleton) and tried to recreate the "feel" of it in Photoshop. Of course, it's not exactly the same, but I think this looks kind of interesting. Forgive me but I am not selecting the violence advisory because the skeleton is merely holding the weapon, and there's nothing else in the picture. Let me know if I am in error.
