Excellent fire effect! (The hand on the left might need a little more fire wiggles, though.) I like the wall texture, also.

nice work. Looks like something I would expect to see in a D&D type adventure game...as I would then be running in the other direction!! :) Creepy creature. Great fire effect. My suggestion would be to get rid of the typical lighting and use a more red/orange based to make it appear more like the flames and lava are lighting the passage, rather then an ambient light source. Nice work.
