My husband and I have been doing photography as a hobby together for about the last 10 years. My love of photography comes from seeing things in a whole different way behind the lens. I love photographying nature, lighthouses, scenic and peoples hands in action.
We have done numerous trips to Canada and Maine for the Photography Seminars done by Freeman Patterson and Andre' Gallant. Two of the Canadian Masters of the art form.
I am a retired choir director for our church and I make my living as a self employed seamstress. Sewing things for the home as well as articles of clothing for ladies. I love creating something whether it be from material or a print. I print all my own work, matt, and frame for sale. Note cards have been requested on many occasions. Â
I think that Renderosity is a wonderful network of artist in which we can learn from. We need a place to put our images to be viewed and critiqued. We learn from your comments each day. We may go back and reshoot something to capture it better or in different lighting, just from one of your comments made.
Each link to another, we can make a difference in the artistic world and make new friends along the way. Thank you.

Great shot ! I saw a bunch of these as they were on their Southern migration in late October. Yesterday, while out walking, probably the last group of Canada Geese were winging their way South. It's pretty late for geese to be hanging around Winnipeg,MB but it has been warmer than usual and there is hardly any snow her. Snow can stay away all Winter for all I care ... :o)

The nuthatch is right side up! Excellent nature shot, fine detail and color.

Beauty of an image though there's that something below and to the right of the bird that could easily be cloned out but otherwise it's one wonderful shot! Love the colors here.

I think it could be clearer/sharper but hell I couldn't have done any better. I suggest you go back there and do it again, it'll be really great practice!
