sorry i have`nt been around much the last couple of days .if you had`nt realised xmas is 4 weeks away lol :o)..so i`ve been dragged round the shops kicking and screaming doing the christmas thing .
this shot i took a few weeks ago just as the weather was turning ,i`m still not sure whether i like it or not.

Nice peaceful scene Mick, I think that I would have taken it from the middle of the lane though, so that the lane took you up to the gate in the field and the dry stone showed up better. As it is you can only see the top row, mind you, you seem to be slightly elevated, were you stood on the wall to get this pov? What are those white pods in the field? are they hay bales? I have seen plenty of black rolls but never white ones. Still a decent shot, you know what I'm like for dry stone walls. Bravo!!!!!

I am always amazed there are so many rock fences in the UK.not a sight here. beautiful countryside
