Description
Another view of the same large scene I posted last time. Not quite a WIP as this portion of the scene is mostly done so I thought I'd give it a high-quality render. 3hrs at best anti-aliasing and 1600x1000px. A little photoshop postwork to correct levels and add some distance haze.
When I've finished this scene I'll get onto posting some tutorials. Those boulders are ridiculously easy to create and I've also figured out a way to do some easy fake GI sky-lighting that drastically cuts down render times. It also allows you to render very large images without Carrara giving those damned "memory allocation errors" that I used to get whenever I tried to render above 2000 pixels wide.

Excellent stuff with a tremendous sense of realism and atmosphere. I would like to create something similar with standing stones (based on some I know in Scotland) so will definitely look forward to the tutorials.

Impressive as always, I look forward to the final image. Also I'll be looking forward for those tips, and those damned memory alloctations have kept me away from carrara for a few weeks except for creating background skies for daz.
