Description

We had a 'killing' frost this morning, a real car-scraper of a start to the day. Fortunately, I won't need my car today.........but I did find the frosty rose buds quite appealing. Enjoy and thanks for visiting.

This is a spectacular shot of a lovely Cold-Hearted Beauty. Your title made me chuckle. This looks like it is covered in sugar and waiting to be placed atop a wedding cake ...too bad it is in its final stage of life.

Those icy fingers up and down my spine....terrific colors, clarity and textures in this capture. The flowers/plants must be quite hardy to withstand the early frost. Quite a contrast to the recent spate of photos depicting water droplets on roses, I must say.
