Description

Location: Berlin - Charlottenburg Shot at 21.10.2007 with Nikon Coolpix, some little postwork with PS.... This is one of 2 backyards of the same house I have shown here yesterday and under no. 30 of this series. Berlin backyards can be very different: Small, dark, ugly, full of waste or waste containers, wreckage places for old cars, or little paradises like this one.... This little green hell is one of the fine ones. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for looking in. I came home today from my vacations and I hope to have a little bit more time tomorrow. This is a great image; it draws me to Berlin as well...the greenery is beautifully captured and I love it's contrast to the grid-like regularity of the bricks and windows. Great work!

Another great picture of Berlin. It is nice to step into a quiet spot like this and leave the busy crowded streets for a while. These Hinterhöfe are a perfect invention! The atmosphere is very well captured.
