Description
Still playing with snow. This image makes me feel cold just looking at it and I hope it gives that same effect. I tried to give off the appearance of trudging through the snow. I can't wait to get home and get Vue Xstream so I can import into Maya and use fur. Fur would have been really great in this and painting it just didn't look right. This was more of an experiment than a final product.

^Oh no! You have been struck with the Luminous Blessings!^ Man- the representation of snow is a pretty unique approach- it works extremely well and looks like the heavy kind that sticks to your eyelashes and/or camera lens- the characters deeper gate gives the impression of trudging through something heavy which also adds to the feeling and effect. I would say you definately are conveying heavy, cold, thick snow and a powerful character in this work. The snow on the tree is a real nice touch, adding even more realism to the effect! Damn good stuff!

Wow, that snow looks real!! No kidding, I can feel the cold in this one. I just had to turn on my room heater. Ha! Shivers. I'm with everyone else, the hunched over figure really conveys someone fighting the elements, just trying to break through to safety or someplace warm. Lucky for him, he's bundled up. I can't wait for you to get to your home computer, too. It's going to be really interesting to see what you can do with Vue Xtreme. That's a totally steroidial program, if you know what I'm saying. Wonderful image of winter. You know your stuff! :)

Can't wait to see the revised version considering how well this one turned out. The lighting and post work are spot on, and as mentioned the pose really sells the image here!
