Description

When I was growing up I always wish to have a Jag. but I know I could not. But I know of the corvettes and still no oney lol. I knew of the 427 engins and that the only one I know about. The rest is alian to me. never saw any thing like these newer engins. Donot know if they was modifid or that how they look off the car lines ready to sell in the stores? I know all the car buffs out there knows the number of nuts and bolts to each engin. Me I just amaze at the diff engins as the years go by and wonder if the 427 is still the fastest of them all? Jag will take it at high speed but the corvette will take it at take off. thanks for looking and comments. Hope I got diff engins in all of them i took a lot of shots of the engins hopeing to put this together

These sort of begin at 1966 when I got my first new car. They go well beyond 1976 when I leased my final purchase. I think you have a good collection of the low restriction carbureted and ram tube fuel injected types here. At some point you will want to add a direct cylinder injection type. Big blocks, small blocks, OMC DOHC, iron and aluminum. What did you think of the Dunlop spot brakes on the D Jag? Le Mans is a testing area for who feels comfortable over 200mph on land.

That is one hell of a lot of horses Jocko, eight cars all the same but eight different engines. I would like to see all eight on a level start, blast away for one mile, with their owners at the wheel not some big name racer. Fantastic collage, thanks for sharing. Bravo!!!!!

A wonderful collage Jock of all these engines. The only thing I know about engines is this!!! :-))) When you press the petrol peddle the car goes :-) I love driving my jeep. Have a great day, Jock. Hugs. Di. xx

I don't know much about engines, but . . . WOW! This is a fabulous collage! I think I like the one in b&w best, just as a piece of art. Gorgeous work!

Awesome collection of Vettes.. I own a 1960 Corvette myself since 1983... One correction... the fastest Corvette of all time is the present Z06. It's even faster then the old 427 & 454 Vettes of old. Even a Viper or Ferrari would have an hard time catching a Corvette Z06 let alone a Jaguar... Outstanding collage...and a fine tribute to Corvettes...
