I've always wanted to take this shot at sunrise. Just need to find the perfect place to do it. I've seen some stunning shots in a desert with the moonrise. This is pretty cool, although it isnt amazing in the contrast area due to haze - probably why the desert is a good place on a clear day - simple contrasts are easier to pick up than this scene. I like how you can see the atmosphere rippling the moon's edge :)

Well, I would be pretty impressed with this shot if I had took it, although I am also listening as a novice to what experienced people have to say.

Wow thats a huge moon! It never appears anywhere near as big here in England. I like how the desert heat is slightly distorting that distant moon - great shot!
