Description

What lies beneath this beautiful looking swimming spot is uranium tailings and heavy equipment dumped after they closed the mine down in '72...what looks beautiful to swim in is probably highly toxic...perhaps thats why the water looks so good...

anything with that much color contrast always makes me think twice...LOL But when it glows after dark, you REALLY pay attention. :-) Love this shot!

Here we call these "Blue Holes" for obvious reasons. Most are OK to swim in though, but not all!! I love that Blue, it is Very Beautiful!!!

It's the bluest water I have ever seen, I would love to dive down and find out what they have left behind, I'll bet its a few thousand pounds worth of equipment, I'll rephrase that, I'll bet it was a few thousand pounds worth. It won't be worth much now. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
