Looks very cool. I like the effects and rendering. I'm starting maya myself. I was into 3d studio max which I only used for rendering as I modeled in Rhinoceros 3D but hope I will be able to switch over easily to Maya. Good job.

Thanks a lot dudes! I am developing the rest of animation, but its nice the turbine trouble events, starts with a litle flaw with the black smoke and the explosions happens exactly on this scene. I have to make the wreckage flying in several directions, catching fire and falling in the water.

This looks very good. Some things that will help with realism - reflections and lighting from the flames would be seen on the water surface motion blur on either the plane or the background - looks like both are stationary relative to the camera. Add these two and you've got a very neat render :-) Keep going
