Description

"If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite." ~ William Blake

I mentioned yesterday that I normally switch the Red and Blue channels in Photoshop when shooting in infrared. Well, sometimes the color scheme from the camera suits the subject and I leave it as is. Such is the case here, where the reds compliment the coins in the water. -----

Thanks for your leafy comments on my previous upload, thumb_1569227.jpg False Fall in Candyland ----- Sony DSC-P200 (IR Converted) & PhotoshopCS. (1045) Morikami Gardens, Boca Raton, FL, USA Sponsored by: ott_bot1.gifKramer Kreations ohm.gif

Beautiful picture. These look like the ghost of the ferns, instead of the ferns themselves, amazing. Todd

A fantastic IR shot! It looks really as if some postwork would be involved! Especially the area where the coins are on the ground! Stunning really!!!

Ghostly ferns and neat gun metal coloured rocks, lucky that's water and not Coke-a-Cola, other wise there would much spare change left ! KKK...Kool, Kompostion, Kort ! ~Cheers~ :o)

How unique, I must say! Actually, when I first saw the image there were so many different textures and lighting effects I didn't notice the coins in the water. In any event, nice IR work, my friend.

Quite a nice shot, Kort. Now, did you use that modified camera or is that someone else? This is truly neat.

Really great image Kort... it's funny how much like gold the coins look, along with the hue they give the water. Lovely as always mate.

Nice picture but 2 remarks : 1) The end of the bamboo is too close of the center of the picture. 2) The leaf on the bottom and the white line (?) are not welcomed.

Nicely done, Kortalouche. I especially like that bit of water trickling above the coins...Lovely atmosphere in this and the white ferny-looking leaves give it a wonderful edge that makes you look twice...I think maybe I'd prefer it if the bottom were cropped just a bit, and lost most of that white object that's not in focus. But I guess that's just a matter of taste. Have a great Fester-free weekend, my friend....-M ;^)
