Description
A spit of sandy beach in a sheltered cove across Lake Powell, Utah from Moki Slot Canyon. Found it in time to set up camp before sun set.

A beautiful secluded cove. The blue water is awesome. It is a deeper blue than the sky.

Looking at those canyon walls I see a lot that is not shown here. The water level is nothing compared to what it could be. This is a shot of peaceful solitude. I'd love to be a part of this.

Wonderful scene! Several times by the time we finally get to our camping destination, then it is barely time to set up camp, and go to bed. ;o) We camped out in the Nevada Desert (dry camp) a couple of times, and it was always that way. ;o)

What a wonderful, peaceful, serene foto!! I love canoeing, it's so quiet and smooth (usually, unless you're like a couple people I know who do whitewater canoeing, no thanks!!), and a great way to see the world from the water. Beautiful shot!!

I plan on another trip to Utah just as soon as I can with weather permitting.and this is one area that is on my want list.exceptional beauty and capture
