he's not hot to me, but unlike RBlue i'll say why. first off, the skin is very realistic (gorgeous texture), but that looks like default Hiro. so to my eyes he looks freaky rather than anime. the lighting is very good, but doesn't match the background at all (see the bright spot where the sun illuminates clouds behind him, and the shadow indicating front lighting). more dramatic and accurate lighting would make any figure look more striking. and those pants look too plastic and have a very unrealistic material, which clashes with the realism of his skin. overall, i think this is a good picture, and i believe lots of people would respond to the big-eyed bishounen look. the long, flowing hair adds dynamism to the image. and the contrast of gold and blue is appealing. but for me, he's not my type ;D.
