Acrylic Painting. (hand painted)
Only cropped and added recessed frame P/shop
My painting was inspired by a visit to Haworth, Yorkshire, UK. they were having an annual theme day portraying a local tradition. A parade of Victorian Characters mainly children carry the Holly by horse and carriage up the steep cobbled street. My next few photographs in a series will be of Haworth.
I appologise for not commenting much recently and I've not uploaded for a couple of days but this is what I've been doing, hope you like it.

I must add, that a photograph of the painting doesn't really do it justice. I don't know much about or, haven't tried other techniques. Someone said about their own work, it was better to scan. ??????

In most cases it´s better to scan, but I don´t think this is bad in anyway, but I can imagen that if you compare them side by side, the "real" will look so much better. Anyway, I think it´s a great acryllic work you´ve got here.

Nice one Alan, when I saw Victorian Christmas, I thought about Haworth, I thought I was going to see the Holly scrunching or whatever they call it. This is great anyhow, this should maybe have gone to the gallery for their sale but I think that was last thursday. I have had a broken PC for the last few days unable to make the club. It's been a bad week really. Excellent painting and picture as well. Bravo!!!!!
