Playing with lights mostly trying to match the background somewhat.

the lighting and posture for the girl is really good! but i would use a different image. sort of fuzzy and leaves the person floating. if you do use that image /I/ would find a better copy of it and then fit it in as widescreen. You know, wit hthe two black bars on the top and bottom. Makes it into a character profile instead of a snapshot. It'll look better. But it's no bad.

The lighting in this one is a bit tricky - considering the darkness in general of the scene behind I would tend toward a darker lighting for your character - particularly since what light source there is on the ship appears to be scattered and weak.

The background and foreground are both great but she looks separate from the scene rather than part of it. I have had some success in using a background image itself as an IBL source, perhaps something to try? But this is still a superb portrait picture!
