Always loved the moon and stars on these but hear it became quite a confrontational subject as some religious groups deemed it Satanic.

And the rumors of that company being connected to Pagan cults never fully went away from that day forward. I love the old packaging as well, though. I also have some Vics Vaporub jars and Petrolium Jelly jars from "way back" that have great labels.

there are always religious nuts out there and usually using religion as an excuse for their asinine behavior.excellent macro and I think I recall seeing this wrapper as a child.it was about the only bar soap available back when,actually I have seen in museums.I am old but not that old
