Ah, yes. Stockton. Home of the Queen's Mighty WurliTzer Theatre Pipe Organ installed in the main ballroom of Stockton Towne Hall, also known as the Wedding Cake. This organ was featured at Walnut Hill. It is played regularly by the likes of Nigel Ogden, Richard Hill, and Simon Gledhill, just to name a few. This ship is beautiful. I love tall ships. The detail and juxtapositioning of the compositional elements is an interesting study in contrasts between the old and the new. Nice exposure and lighting, right down to the sheen on the colorful hull paint. Yuppers, she is a beauty, indeed. Thanks for sharing. 5 stars.

Well great minds think alike, both of us today have posted work with boats. Super photo here. It's strange I spend about a week every year up near here but have never been to this part. Maybe next April we could meet up for a day?

How very amazing. I love the lines and the colors and the fact it is all wood makes it so complete. We have a replica of the Mayflower in Plymouth (well, where else would we have it? LOL) and I went there several times as a child. I marveled at the craftmanship of the old boatbuilders then and I still do.

Corect me if I'm wrong Mick, I seem to recall something about this ship and it being moored between two bridges, does this ring any bells with you? Excellent shot of this wonderful replica, with regard to the above do they have lessons for the kids, aboard the ship that is? It is quite a while back and the memory is not as good as it used to be. It could be in another country. Bravo!!!!!!
