Description
This is an advertisment for a television series that I have been working on for about 20 years now.
It revolves around an airship and it's crew being thrown week to week into alternate realities. The crew however is mixed with the liegitamate people, and a band of pirates who had taken over the ship in there "home" universe. Together each week they are forced to deal with strange worlds where anything can happen. One week they are in a world where dragons are real, the next where mankind is a star fairing people, or one where the world is at war.
Needless to say the possibilities are endless.
In the series, we pick up where they visit our reality and take onboard a girl, whom one of the main chariters have rescued from certain death. She becomes part of the crew only because she is onboard when they shift from our realitiy. The series is filmed through her veiw point.
As I said earlier, I have been working on this for a while. Only problem is that I am not really a writter and have yet to come up whith a treament to send to the powers that be in Hollywood. I am looking for a collaborator.

Great picture, it really looks nice. As far as the story goes, you'd have to be very careful to avoid being too much like Sliders or Star Trek: Voyager. Sliders has done the reality jumping thing to death, but they never did it well so if you do it better then that wouldn't be a problem. Voyager did the "two crews forced to get along" thing, but again, they didn't do it incredibly well. Maybe you can do both of these in a new and exciting way. Good luck!
Revelation-23
Yeah, Sliders comes to mind. Star Trek and Stargate have also used the alternate reality things too (ST, quite a bit more), among others. Doesn't mean it wouldn't work, so long as you can offer a unique spin on the whole thing and don't rehash the same plotlines that have been done before. Hope things work out and you get your pitch to someone who can make it happen. In the right hands, it could do a lot. Seeing things as the girl sees them might be one of the keys to making it happen. Best of luck!

thanks everyone for the comment and encouragements. I have actually been working on this for half of my life and had the main concepts in place before Star Trek and Sliders. I remember being in collage and working on this. what i really need is a co-developer who can actually write a treatment with me.
