OK, you are all sort of right in the first pic, it is a vent for cooling...but on what is the question? Here is the second clue...Try again! Once more these are not shots for artistic talent, just for the fun of it.....

uptake vent on a whole house vacuum system? Exhaust vent on the public bathroom ventilation system? Fan for your PC cooling system? Um. Hmmm. Fan on the exhaust hood thingy over a restaurant stove? Blower on the hand air dryer thingy in public restrooms? Okay, I'm out of ideas.

Too much rubber for a restaurant exhaust fan...looks like an eye behind it...geez,Macro's sure can keep you guessing...I think that when you reveal what it is maybe you can provide a "whole" shot,just to freak us out some more!
