Greetings Richard, It is interesting that you would mention 'permission' since i have been chased away from security guards even though i was clearly on the street trying to photograph an interesting building. Thank you for sharing. egmont

This is an impressive building.. It does look familar but I can't put my nose on it... Could you send me a private IM and let me know what this building is??? It's driving me nuts...trying to think...I know I have saw it somewhere before... Love those red fall trees in front of that white building and the sky just tops it off my friend... You and PJ Mrs.Lubner..a very adventrous in trying to get a pic of something... Only place I ever got told to stay away from was at Graceland...I put my foot over the red velvet rope to just say I wanted to have stepped on that carpet of Elvis going up the stairs..Promptly 3 Security Gaurds told me in a rather stern like manner not to do that anymore or I would be removed the premises..LOL I just told them what I wanted to do and they said oh well that was different they thought I was gonna make a dash for the upstairs..Yeah and get myself thrown in jail in Memphis and me living in Ky...I don't think so grin With this rod in my left leg now too I am kinda afraid to do anything esp climbing afraid I might fall and might break my leg and mess this rod up and have to have surgery again...taking pics like that aren't for me...Just something up close and safe LOL..but glad to see risk takers like you and PJ here on the site...I do fear your alls safety at times...grin The clarity of this image is very impressive as well Fantastic capture....and let me know in an IM if you don't mind....or even if you don't want to tell me in an IM send me one anyway with maybe a hint if you don't want to disclose this place.... Great great shot...and yes... Freedom is slowly getting taken away from us again..where we once valued it above all else..now people can't even smoke cigarettes on hospital grounds outside now...and even in Louisville our closest big city one can't even sit in their cars in the parking lot and smoke a cig...I call that going to far myself... Like Goldie said Our country is going down on the deep end.. I just uploaded another one hope you drop by Hugs Susan~

I don't know why they would not let you take a picture of it, it is obvious to me that they probably took several "Motion" pictures of you ;^D

Truly a beautiful architectural creation-by someone for something. What it's supposed to be, apparently, is a top national secret. You are quite correct,Richard, in saying that we are losing our freedoms.Big Brother lurks behind every corner. I live in the heart of the American revolution. Our town was one of the first to muster a militia to fight the British. Outside my studio window I can see the old revolutionary cemetery, and I bet all of them are turning in their resting places in protest to this travesty of personal freedoms. Excellent image ,Richard, and keep on taking pictures of whatever you want!!!!!

I think they should hand out cameras to all the visitors and say "go for it" ! Great architecture and the matching sky reflection in the glass, is a stunner. Let's hope all this political correctness is just a fad and we all get back to normal rationalities and values ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Those same people were urging me to take a drink to forget. I can just sit here and blow the mist off the head. It needed airing out.
