Shoot done at "Zoo de Pont Scorff" in France (Bretagne - Morbihan 53). Shoot done with Spot measure on lighter part of the animal's head. EOS 350D / Rebel XT 50mm f/1.8 Sepia done with LightRoom 1.3

This is the most unique, interesting and provocative image of a giraffe I've every seen. It just goes to show that you did need to go to Africa and have blue skies to get a FANTASTIC animal portrait! Honestly I think you should try more of these. It feels like the giraffe is your pet and you actually have a bond with it, as if it's human!

Excellent capture, where you on a ladder or perhaps the giraffe's head came down for food? Which being an animal photographer myself I would think was the best option LOL It is a fantastic shot congratulations hugs Jane xx
