Description

"The Lake hissed farewell to another day gone by..." Kodak DC240, 1.2Mpixel Unedited&Downsized The lake was in a mild wild mood, great for experiments in getting splashing water in the picture. This picture almost cost me my camera, sitting on those rocks in front, I was just in time with holding my camera up when the wave hit me. Only a few drops fell on the camera. The result was well worth the risk!

P.S.: Left of the pole in the water you can see a few tiny streams of smoke rising from the horizon, it's part of the eastside Amsterdam (NL) skyline...

Must be an old photo, cause I can't remember the last time we had weather like this here in Holland! ;) Seriously, lovely shot...I'm addicted to sunsets like this =)

Thank you all, and yes, this picture was taken last Summer. Though this winter DID have some great days to take pictures, I had a lot of other things on my mind, amongst which Posering...
