Description
Three examples of some of the myriad nuclear weapons in service with the USAF over the the last 60 years.
Went to visit my brother (red shirt) in Shreveport LA, in August, and he took me out to the air base, and showed me around.
Kind of creepy thinking about how many of these things existed back when I was growing up.
Did we really need them? Probably.
Would we have used them? Thats out of my pay scale.
I console myself with the thought that I am still living in Wichita, which in the 70's and 80's was the 2nd largest gas station in the world. A prime target. Not to mention the couple of dozen Titan II missiles that surrounded the city.
Hopefully, cooler heads will keep a lid on things untill we've found a way to keep humanity and all our petty bullshit to a somewhat more sedate and personal state of mind.

they flew to Shreveport recently with live atomic bombs by carelessness from Montana or some where up north. very interesting captures and I never seen one in person. I go there once in a while so I may try and check it out. my brother lives in Wichita
