Hi, I'm Marilyn.  I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile.  It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here.  I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends.  Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time.  Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!!  Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet.  You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long.  Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

an image after my own (pilot's) heart... :) if you ever get the chance, you may want to watch for condensation vortices from wing and engine nacelle protuberances during favorable (high humidity) conditions on takeoff/landing... pretty cool phenomena, even for non-aerogeeks! ;)

Okay, young lady, I checked out the Airbus series of aircraft and found there is no such model as the 130, but according to the vertical flange at the end of the wing in the photo, this is probably an A310, or possibly an A319 or A320 model. In any event, a nice capture looking downward into the misty golden vista.

Quite an interesting shot, I love the captured glow on whatever those things are on the wing...I can never remember, but you've captured such vivid color and liveliness. The haze in the distance is nicely caught as well...in short, this is a great image and taken from one of my favorite seats on a plane because you can see contrails of compression fog when the plane takes off or lands in somewhat bad weather. This shot reminds me of seeing that, which always amuses me, though I've only seen it a couple of time. Fantastic work, as always.
