Longgggg-standing interest in photography, first class in high school in the 60's, but was too expensive a hobby until my first digital camera about two years ago. Now I'm more prolific. :-D I am BRAND NEW to computers, so any advice on image enhancements probably should wait until I learn how to click, double-click, and drag...
I enjoy taking landscape shots and shots with a historical context, especially around Kittitas County, Washington.
The portraits in my icon and homepage image were taken last winter by the woman who is known here at Renderosity as PumaWalkingSoftly (aka Windchime Photography), thanks Laura!

As stated yesterday winter/snow is late here this year!

I love the pre-sunrise lighting here, gives the entire shot a blue tone that carries the mood of the cold snow through. Great shot, Dan! (especially for someone that INSISTS snow is a curse word, LOL)

That's making me feel cold, just looking at it! :o) I've got my sweaters out, and heavy jackets and coats. We're ready if the temperature keeps dipping on us. This is an excellent shot, and sets a winter mood.

The snow is beautiful but I love those icicles. When I was a child nothing made me happier than to suck on an icicle. Now I just appreciate them for their beauty.

We rarely get such snows here in Kentucky. When we do though, I love it. The earth and the sky have no boundries, but instead blend together into a beautiful and dreamy cocoon. Truly a lovely shot. :)
