That is wonderful, Sheila. It is so nice to see this, after watching the progress as a WIP in 2D Graphics Forum. I must say, you make me feel stress headache. LOL Well, not really, but I remember the feeling. I love your blending, and there is a small something that really hits the mark with me, the reflection on the thumbnail. Sometimes, it is those little details that finish the painting so delightfully. Excellent work of art! Hugs, Suzanne

I know it's been awhile since you've posted, but it's always a pleasure to walk through your gallery. This does capture the title, a stressed end, someone stopping to catch up with themselves...but it also has a soft flow to it, you've rendered flesh quite smoothly here & your tonal variations are quite subtle and flowing. (It's always nice to see a fine artist move from b&w to color, and see the same intimate sense of movement from light to dark, inner to outer, etc.) The hair is nicely detailed in locks, where we see individual hairs but also clumps; and your background is textured enough to give it life without taking over from the person (who seems like she's just stepped out of the shower & is freed at last). Another sensitive rendering from you—render in the pre-software sense of capturing an essence, a wholeness. Has human softness to go along with the stress, and very natural colors & a natural pose as well...
